Elanor VanLandeghem is retiring after 38 years
It has been my pleasure to work in the credit union system for the past 38 years. You have become my second family. My husband and sons would say you are the lucky side of the family because you don’t have to try to eat my burnt cookies and my burnt dinner rolls.
What I had applied for 38 years ago, was the position of filling in for the Manager of Our Lady of Help Parish Credit Union. When Art Thibideau informed me I had the job,
He then told me the position had changed – I would be the Manager. So my little part-time position has seen many changes, all good.
What I am really going to miss the most (besides paydays) is the daily interaction with my co-workers and all the stories shared with our members. We really have had some good times. Well, it can’t be all work now can it!
I feel I am leaving the Wallaceburg Branch in good hands with Travis, Deb and Cathy, and wish them all the best in their new building.
I will miss all of you.
